GUITAR
At Elite Guitar, we believe that everyone can learn to play the guitar. Our after-school guitar classes are designed to teach students how to play the guitar in a fun and engaging way. We help beginners learn the fundamentals of music making, including reading notes, strumming chords, and basic music theory. Our experienced teachers make sure that every student progresses at their own pace and is challenged to reach their full potential.
UKULELE
In recent years the ukulele has taken the world by storm, and for a good reason. With its small size and easy-to-play nature, it's the perfect instrument for younger students, but is also beloved by all ages. Students learn to strum chords, play single note melodies, and learn to read tabs. From nursery songs for the youngest to the latest hit songs, we pick our repertoire carefully to fit our students' interest.
JR XPLORERS™
Our exclusive Jr Xplorers™ program is specifically designed for children in TK and Kindergarten, but adaptable up to 2nd grade. With our hands-on approach and using easy-to-play performance musical instruments, we make learning music fun and engaging. Our goal with this program is to spark musical curiosity and promote creativity early in their lives, while building a solid foundation in music.
MUSIC PRODUCTION
Our Music Production program introduces students to the technical and creative side of writing and producing a song using Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) software. Students learn the basics of working with audio, MIDI sequencing, and song composition using GarageBand on iPad. We provide valuable hands-on experience with creating drum beats, looping, and using effects processors and virtual instruments. Whether their passion is in pop, rock, hip-hop, or electronic music, we will provide the building blocks and tools to create their own first song, right on their iPad. No prior music experience is required.
DRUMS
Who does not want to be a drummer? Our drum group classes offer a fun but comprehensive curriculum covering the essential elements of drum performance and technique for aspiring rock/pop drummers. Our instructors guide students through popular songs using backing tracks, providing an engaging and immersive learning experience.
VIOLIN
The beginning violin class aims to equip students with the necessary tools to be successful in orchestra in middle or high school. Our instructors focus on building a strong foundation, including proper position, tone production, and basic music theory skills, while selecting repertoire that matches student's interests.
PERFORMING GROUPS
We are committed to providing our students with many performance opportunities. In all of our group classes we strive to create small groups/bands incorporating various instruments and vocals. Our Performance Groups are a unique offering that cater to students who possess several years of musical experience and are interested in additional public performances. We have a proven track record in establishing guitar ensembles that have successfully ventured on national and international tours.
