/Downey Foundation for Educational Opportunities/
Our partnership with DFEO commenced in 2017, with the offering of after-school guitar classes at a few elementary schools in Downey, California. Over time, our programs have expanded to cover all 13 elementary and 4 middle DUSD schools, offering a vast range of music classes. Funded by California's ELOP grant, DFEO offers all classes and instruments free of charge to all students enrolled in the after-school program. In addition to the grant funded programs, DFEO now offers paid classes available to all students in the district. We are privileged to be DFEO's partner and provider of music classes, instruments and equipment.

THE GREEN ROOM
ARTS Co
The Green Room Arts was a joint partnership between Elite Guitar and other music professionals to provide concert venues, and performing and touring opportunities for our students. During the 4 year project we established several guitar ensembles and took them on national and international concert tours, including Bulgaria (2015), California (2016), and Italy (2017). These ensembles also competed at a number of guitar competitions, garnering top prizes, including competing at the prestigious Guitar Foundation of America Guitar Competition (2017).

ORANGE COUNTY SCHOOL OF THE ARTS
The founder of Elite Guitar - Petar Chekardzhikov provided comprehensive curriculum development and pedagogy to Junior High and High School students from 2009 until 2016. Some of the courses he taught include Chamber Music, Guitar Ensembles, Advanced Guitar Techniques, Guitar Arranging and Guitar Collaboration. Many of the chamber groups and guitar orchestras achieved top honors at guitar competitions in California and Texas.
